Stephan M. Spencer, M.Sc., is Founder and President of natural search marketing firm Netconcepts. Founded by Stephan in 1995, Netconcepts has over time become one of the leading voices for search engine ready ecommerce. Clients include Home Shopping Network, AOL, Verizon SuperPages.com, Discovery Channel, and REI, to name a few.
Stephan is an author of the O’Reilly book The Art of SEO, along with co-authors Rand Fishkin and Jessie Stricchiola. He’s also a frequent speaker at Internet conferences around the globe (including Berlin, London, Toronto, Santiago, Auckland, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and places in between) for organizations such as the DMA, the AMA, Shop.org, SMX, JupiterMedia/IncisiveMedia (Search Engine Strategies), Internet World, IQPC and IIR.
